Mr. Hendricks was born August 30, 1960 in Heard County to the late Hubert Hendricks and Winnie Fred Barnes Hendricks. He was a Christian by faith.
He worked as a supervisor for Alumax-Alcoa.
At home he was a “do-it-yourselfer”. He was a very good carpenter and enjoyed tinkering with anything that had a motor. An avid outdoorsman, he also liked to hunt deer and go fishing.
He dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He also held a special place in his heart for his dog, “Sassy”.
Survivors include: his wife, Debbie Hendricks of Franklin; one son, Joe Hendricks of Atlanta; one daughter-in-law, Hollie Hendricks of Woodland, AL; three grandchildren: Kenzie, Jake, and J.C. Hendricks; one sister, Bertha Powell (Mike) of Franklin; one brother, Johnny Hendricks of Franklin; one brother-in-law, Kermit Blanks; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Lamar Hendricks, and a sister, Betty Jean Blanks.
