Mrs. Dean was born November 22, 1942 in Paulding County, GA to the late Joseph Thomas Lawrence and Katie Bell Moore Shinpaugh. She was a Christian woman and a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
She was self-employed as a house cleaner. Another of her jobs was a pet sitter for owners who were going out of town. She loved every minute she sat with her furry friends.
She was an independent woman who always spoke what was on her mind. This outgoing personality endeared her to everyone she met. She was well known and respected by her family, friends and neighbors.
She held a special place in her heart for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kim Payne (Russell Hubbard) of Franklin; one son, Joseph Galloway of Franklin; four grandchildren: Deaven Payne, Riley Payne, Logan Hubbard, and Amanda Turner (Bobby); three great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Marella (Jerry) of Franklin; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bonnie Clyde Dean; one daughter, Pamela Ann Ashmore; one son, Harold Merritt Galloway; one sister, Joyce Lawrence; and three brothers: Silas Lawrence, Arnold Shinpaugh, and Dennis Lawrence.
