Edward Eugene “Ed” Bryan
Mr. Edward Eugene “Ed” Bryan, age 74, of Franklin passed away January 1, 2019.
Funeral services for Mr. Bryan will be conducted Thursday January 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Janney officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Thursday afternoon from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Mr. Bryan was born December 20, 1944 in Randolph County, AL to the late Charlie Eugene Bryan and Velma Hill Bryan Echols. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
He was married to the former Linda Smith for 54 years, and dearly loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He worked as a fireman and EMT for Heard County for 27 years, and helped countless citizens when they had an emergency.
During his free time, he enjoyed working outdoors. He had his own grass cutting business for several years, and loved to work in his garden each summer. He also liked to work with wood, and had his own shop at home where he built furniture.
Survivors include: his wife, Linda Bryan of Franklin; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and Lee Trigg of Roanoke; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Angie Bryan of Franklin; two grandchildren: Michael Bryan (Krisha) and Angel Bryan; three great-grandchildren: J-Den Bryan, Wade Bryan, and Alaysha Bryan; and a number of other relatives and friends.
