Kyle was born November 11, 1996 in Henry County, GA to Edward Koenig, Jr. and Michele Rena Henson Koenig. He was a Christian by faith.
He was a graduate of Heard County High School (Class of 2015), where he was a member of the football team. He played offensive line and cleared the way for many yards for his fellow teammates. In his younger days he played baseball with the recreation department. He took great pride in being from Heard County – a place he loved.
He was enrolled as a student at Georgia Southern University where he was majoring in Construction Management. While attending school he helped his grandfather in his business. He had also worked for Rite-Made Fabrication in Franklin.
Among his favorite pastimes were playing golf and coon hunting. He was also an excellent cook. One of his specialties was his bar-b-que ribs. He was a lover of history and enjoyed studying and discussing historic events.
He lived life to the fullest and loved to drive jacked up trucks and hang out with his friends. He was a good ole country boy with a heart of gold.
Survivors include: his parents, Eddie and Michele Koenig; brother, Tyler Koenig (Chelsea); niece, Brylee Koenig; nephew, Levi Koenig; special friend, Kyndall Banks; grandparents: Cathy and Cliff Godsey, Norma Koenig, and Donna Koenig; and a number of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Ed Koenig.
