Sara Jean “Sally” Annas
Mrs. Sara Jean “Sally” Annas, 69, of Centralhatchee passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, July 12, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends.
Visitation services will be Friday, July 13 from 5-8PM at Roopville Road Baptist Church.
The celebration of life service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, July 14 at Roopville Road Baptist Church.
Interment will be at Centralhatchee Parkway Baptist church.

Sally was born September 6, 1948 in Carrollton, Georgia and lived in Centralhatchee. She was the daughter of the late Emmett and Louise Merrill Jackson and the wife of Mike Annas. She was a member of Roopville Road Baptist Church.
She loved to teach children, was a teacher’s aide for 29 years, and drove a school bus for 18 years at Centralhatchee and Heard Elementary.
Sally was selfless. She was always giving to others and ministering to those in need. On a foreign mission trip to Honduras, the Lord gave her a passion for the Lenca People group and set her heart to foreign missions. She was a short term missionary making 10 trips to Honduras, 2 trips to Uganda, Africa and several trips to New York. She served in many local missions, including starting a bus ministry to pick up and bring children to church.
Sally loved Jesus. Her life was a testimony to him, and she served him faithfully. She was an exceptional wife and loving mother to 6 children, and is deeply loved by 11 grandchildren. She loved animals and extended her love and care to all God’s creatures.
Survivors include: her husband Mike Annas of Centralhatchee,Ga., her brother Emmett Brown “Pepper” Jackson II of Centralhatchee, Ga., her children: Brian (Amy) Wiggins of Centralhatchee, Ga., Britt ( Kellie) Wiggins of Centralhatchee, Ga., Leslie (Scott) Hellman of Kennesaw, Ga., Kelly (Tony) Thornton of Centralhatchee, Ga., Brandy (Shayne) Hester of Centralhatchee, Ga.,Todd (Jennifer) Annas of Centralhatchee, Ga. As well as her grandchildren, Hannah, Taylor, Jasmyne, Brittany, Cayleb, Will, Sarah Grace, Madyson, Gavin, Colton, Olivia, her best friend and caregiver Pat Shumake, several nieces, and numerous friends.
Sally is preceded in death by her parents Emmett and Louise Jackson, Sister Jane Ellen Speir and Sister Susan Hewitt.
