William Veto Gore
Mr. William Veto Gore, age 83, of Newnan passed away November 13, 2019.
Funeral services for Mr. Gore will be conducted Friday November 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home with the Rev. Craig Ogle officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites and Military Honors.
The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Thursday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.

Mr. Gore was born January 27, 1936 in Marion County, AL to the late Millard Fillmore Gore and Effie Barker Gore. He was a Baptist by faith.
He served his country in the US Army, and earned the rank of Corporal. He was awarded a rifleman expert badge.
He was a member of Bigham Lodge #53 F. & A. M. with 56 years of service.
He was known for having a green thumb, and enjoyed growing gourds. He made things from them each year. He also liked to go fishing.
One of his favorite sports was football. He especially loved to watch his favorite team, the Alabama Crimson Tide.
He held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Few things gave him as much joy as having a visit from them and laughing with them.
Survivors include: four daughters: Denise Phillips (Perry) of Newnan, Cyndi Harris of Newnan, Leesa Gore of Newnan, and Tammy Riley of Franklin; eight grandchildren: Joshua, Jordan, and Jenni Phillips; Lloyd and Crystal Harris; Raven Gore, Kelsy Pitts, and Tiffany Riley; three great-grandchildren: Hayden Veto Harris, Landen Harris, and Liliana Pitts; three sisters: Dorothy Garrett of Franklin, Jane Mitchell of Conyers, and Faye Jones of Franklin; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Fredda Gore; and two brothers: Ray Gore and Bart Gore.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Mr. Gore was a wonderful man. I wish only that I could have met him many years ago. During this time of sadness keep in mind all the wonderful memories he has given you throughout his life , and may they bring many smiles to your faces. God has claimed another Angel he evidently needed by his side. May God give you all peace and comfort during this time Larry Clark
