Mr. McCormick was born April 9, 1966 in Heard County to Elsie Mae Clifton McCormick Johnson and the late Wheeler McCormick. He was a Baptist by faith and read his Bible each day.
He was a kind and loving person, who was well loved by his family and friends. He loved to cook and have get-togethers with everyone. He played the guitar and sang, and was always the life of the party when he was around.
In his free time he enjoyed being outdoors. He loved to fish. At home he raised chickens and grew his own tomatoes and peppers.
Survivors include: his mother, Elsie Johnson; two sisters: Judy Ivey (Joe) and Patti Cameron both of LaGrange; one brother, Thad McCormick of Eureka, CA; a special aunt, Irma Vick; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother who raised him, Lois Scott.
