Wendell Theo Gore
Mr. Wendell Theo Gore, age 75, of Franklin passed away November 1, 2018.
Funeral services for Mr. Gore will be conducted Sunday November 4, 2018 at 3:00 PM from Ridgeway Baptist Church with the Rev. Lynn Janney officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Saturday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Mr. Gore was born November 11, 1942 in Heard County to the late Howard Gore and Joyce Yarbrough Gore. He was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church.
He was a simple man who worked hard for his family. He drove a truck for more than 50 years, a job he loved. He held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: his ex-wife and very good friend, Linda Gore of Franklin; one daughter, Lashunda McCullough (David) of Franklin; two sons: Scott Gore and Jamie Gore (Connie) all of Franklin; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Doris Ward of Columbus and Lola Jean Barnett of Pennsylvania; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Brentley Gore; one sister, Sarah Gosdin; and three brothers: Ray Gore, J.B. Gore, and Hutson Gore.
