Carl James Bledsoe
Mr. Carl James Bledsoe, age 92, of Franklin passed away Saturday December 15, 2018.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday December 18, 2018 at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Williams officiating. Interment will follow the service in Centralhatchee First Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 – 4:00 PM prior to the service.

Mr. Bledsoe was born January 7, 1926 to the late William Carl Bledsoe and Pearlie Estelle Hammond Bledsoe. He was a Baptist by faith.
He served his country in the US Army.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a supply room clerk for Southwire.
He loved anything to do with cars, especially his favorite brand, Ford. He enjoyed driving fast cars and watching the pros on the NASCAR track each weekend.
Among his favorite outdoor activities was bush hogging. He loved to ride his tractor and cut grass. He also enjoyed traveling when he was able.
Survivors include: one niece, Deborah Parks (David) of Ephesus; three nephews: Elvis Shelnutt of Franklin, Royce Shelnutt of Franklin, and Jervis Shelnutt (Janice) of Hogansville; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sallie Mae Shelnutt; a brother, William Troy Bledsoe; and a nephew, Travis Shelnutt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Centralhatchee First Baptist Church Cemetery Fund (mail donations to 109 Loftin Ln Franklin, GA 30217).
