Douglas Tyrone Lashley
Mr. Douglas Tyrone Lashley, age 73, of Franklin passed away November 23, 2019.
A memorial service was held November 26, 2019 at Stutts Funeral Home with Pastor Debbie Kendrick officiating.

Mr. Lashley was born February 8, 1946 in Fitzgerald, GA to the late David Ernest Lashley and Helen Irene Taylor Capps. He was a Christian by faith and served his country in the US Air Force.
He lived in New Orleans for more than 40 years. He developed a love for “The Big Easy” and was a devoted fan of the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. He worked as a chef on the Mississippi Queen and became a bartender at the Court of Two Sisters.
One of his favorite quotes was, “No matter where you go, there you are.” He loved to listen to classical music. One of his favorite artists was Sarah Brightman.
Survivors include: one daughter, Alisha Moody of Hogansville; three sons: Doug Lashley (Marie) of Hogansville, David Lashley (Ivy) of Florida, and Ty Lashley of Ohio; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
