Kathy Winkles
Mrs. Katherine Diane Haynes Winkles, age 60, of Grantville passed away September 21, 2018.
Her memorial service will be conducted Monday September 24, 2018 at 6:00 PM from Sargent Baptist Church.

Mrs. Winkles was born April 13, 1958 in Newnan to the late Horace Lamar Haynes and Marie Estelle Smith. She was a Baptist by faith.
She obeyed the great commandment to “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” She did so with an unconditional love. She held a special place in her heart for her children and grandchildren, and especially enjoyed getting together with all of them.
In her free time she enjoyed watching go cart racing and listening to music of all kinds. She also liked to watch TV. Among her favorite shows were cooking shows and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
Survivors include: daughter, April McClendon (Wayne) of Grantville; son, Michael Shane Lee (Crystal) of Thomaston; a number of grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers: Doug Haynes, Steve Haynes, and Tim Haynes.
