Mr. Bunn was born October 19, 1967 in Fulton County, GA to Benard Dale Bunn and Regina Faye Smith Palmer. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
He worked as a warehouse manager for Barnett and Cheeves. He also owned and operated Sheltered Under Saw Mill Services.
He was a much loved family man. His daughter-in-law, Jessica, stated the love and affection she and the family had for him better than anyone else ever could in a recent Facebook post in tribute to him:
“There are not enough words to express how much we will miss this man. One of the most giving, selfless, strongest men I know. He always made sure everyone was taken care of before himself. He welcomed me into his family 10 years ago and has loved me and taken care of me like his own since day one. Me and Bray was his ready made family, as he said. He taught me so much in that short time. Family was always most important. He didn’t say I love you often but it was always shown. He always made sure we had firewood, that the cars were put up before a storm, walked the house about once a week checking for leaks/damage, always made sure the garden was planted/picked/watered. I could go on for days. Poppy was our protector, our teacher, our food critic, the man of the family. He loved to teach his grands about EVERYTHING! He loved his tractor, his fish, his Roxie, his family, his trucks but most importantly he loved the Lord and we all know where he is. He is cancer free finally. We will miss him everyday but we know where he is and living it up with Jesus.”
Survivors include: his wife, Tracy Bunn; mother, Regina Palmer; father and step-mother, Dale Bunn (Joyann); one daughter, Christina Robinson (Luke); one son, Chris Bunn (Jessica); five grandchildren: Jase Bunn, Lane Robinson, Natalie Bunn, Hunter Robinson, and Brayleigh Spradlin; one sister, Jackie Atkinson; and a number of other relatives and friends.
