Mrs. Baron was born April 27, 1947 in Nashville, TN to the late James Theodore Frederick, Sr. and Mildred Frances Burton Frederick. She and her husband, Randy Virgil Baron, Sr., had enjoyed 51 years of marriage together.
She was a member of Family Worship Center of Hogansville, and loved her Lord and her church family.
Gatherings for food and fellowship were some of her favorite times. Each year in the fall she hosted an event where her family and church friends got together for a hay ride and cookout. She also liked to go fishing, then go home, dress the fish and have a big fish fry.
In her free time at home she enjoyed sewing and needlepoint. She was a big football fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. She also liked to watch westerns on TV, especially if John Wayne was the star. Reading books was another of her favorite pastimes.
She was a wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who loved people the way they wanted to be loved – as Jesus loved the church.
Survivors include: her husband, Randy Baron of Franklin; two sons: Randy Baron, Jr. (Barbara) of Fayetteville and Chris Baron (Bobbie) of Franklin; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Diann Crane (James) of Douglasville; three brothers: Earl Frederick (Janet) of Franklin, Larry Frederick of Palmetto, and Jimmy Frederick (Carolyn) of Jonesboro; and a number of other relatives and friends.
