Lewis Edward “Ed” Ford
Mr. Lewis Edward “Ed” Ford, age 73, of Roopville passed away Sunday August 26, 2018.
Funeral services for Mr. Ford will be conducted Wednesday August 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM (Eastern Time) from the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Ford and Rev. Mark Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Gray Hill Church of God Cemetery.
The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Wednesday from 11:00 – 1:00 prior to the service.

Mr. Ford was born May 17, 1945 in Calhoun County, AL to the late Fred E. Ford and Mable Clara Norred Ford.
He was a taxidermist by trade and owned his own business.
He was Pentacostal by faith, and loved his Lord with all of his heart. He loved to sing Southern Country Gospel Music, praise the Lord’s name and bring God’s message to others. He showed his love for his neighbor by providing help when they were in need.
He had a good loving heart and adored his family. He also held a special place in his heart for his animals, especially his favorite dogs, Bullet and Oscar.
Survivors include: his wife, Bunny Ford of Roopville; one daughter, Lisa Kirby (Don Hurst) of Aragon, GA; two sons: Brian Ford (Cheryl) and Keith Ford (Bridget) both of Griffin; five grandchildren: Morgan Ford, Kyle Kirby, Kaylan Griffie, Kassidy Ford, and Jude Ford; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Merylene Pettus and Rachel Dobbs.
