Brenda Sara Mayo Carroll
Mrs. Brenda Sara Mayo Carroll, age 75, of Franklin passed away November 11, 2019.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carroll will be conducted Thursday November 14, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home with the Rev. Derrill Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Waverly Hall Cemetery.
The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Carroll was born January 23, 1944 in Troup County to the late Theodore Franklin Mayo and Murl Grimes Mayo. She was a Baptist by faith.
She loved her family, and enjoyed getting together for food and fellowship at family reunions.
Among her favorite pastimes was going fishing. She also liked to travel to Georgia’s state parks and go sight-seeing.
A lover of God’s creatures, she was known to take in rescue animals of many types.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kim Baker (Larry) of Franklin; one son, Tim Bishop (Donna) of Douglasville; two grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Patterson of Franklin; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Carroll; one sister, Doris Spivey; and two brothers: Wilbur Mayo and Fred Mayo.

Our hearts are heavy today. Brenda was so much loved by everyone that knew her. She was a loving and kind person to everyone, and it was genuinely pure, straight from her soul. There are so many good memories with our families over the years. Memories that we all can cherish forever. Rest in peace now cousin, Ella Arrington
